Ocean Safety Summit 2024

Again, we are excited to host the 2024 Ocean Safety Summit, which is set to take place at the Old Princeton Landing, Mavericks, and Pillar Point Harbor. This year’s event will be unique, uniting a diverse group of ocean experts and enthusiasts. This summit will feature an impressive lineup of world-class big wave surfers, including World Champion Peter Mel, alongside renowned long-distance swimmer Amy Gubser. In addition to these ocean athletes, many elite rescue professionals will attend, sharing their expertise in ocean safety, rescue techniques, and risk management in extreme conditions. With its towering waves and challenging surf, Mavericks serves as the perfect backdrop for this gathering of top-tier professionals who share a common commitment to advancing safety on the North Coast.
